How to soften new skin western saddle?
Hello everyone! I just bought a brand new show western saddle (silver) and I would know their methods to soften. Thanks for all your answers!
In principle, you have a rack mount ... Put your seat on the shelf. You will need a broom handle and a little water, preferably in a spray bottle. *** Apply water in the basement, NOT the upper surface of the skin. Put water in top grain treated waterspot and discolor the finish .*** Spray the back of the fenders, turn the handle, as it would if you were riding and put the broom through them. Let dry. Alternatively, you could spray wet, saddle your horse and ride it to dry. That would be my preference.
