I have a pair of black leather military dress shoes Bates. Let me know how to shine at a high shine?
What you need: canvas shoes water or alcohol Polish Here's how: Spread a layer of average thickness enamel paste on the part of the boot is spit shined. Let dry for 5-10 minutes. Wrap a clean, soft cloth around your index finger to be smooth (no wrinkles). Alternatively, you can use a cotton ball. Dip your finger or cotton ball into a water container. The cloth / cotton should be moist but not dripping. Buff enamel powder (using a circular motion) with the wet cloth / cotton ball, until the wax starts to shine. always with the rag wet your finger, apply a thin layer of enamel in a circular motion and keep stroking until a hazy shine develops. Using the (now) a damp cloth or a cotton ball, keep applying thin layers of wax, polish with a small circular motion. When the boot is very glossed the use, cleaning cloth dry soft brush or a gloss to give a fan at the end. Tips: The reason for using a damp cloth is fine to leave the coats of enamel from sticking to the fabric and to promote the glaze to stick to the skin. You want to keep on creating thin layers of wax until you have a completely smooth surface that gives the glossy shine. After the heavy first layer of glaze should use small amounts of enamel to build the brightness. If you use too much polish will dissolve the base already accumulated. Shirts work well for fabric material, like cloth diapers. Some people prefer to use alcohol instead of water.
